Weekend Picnic
3pm, Sunday 12th August
So we're on for next weekend! I've had 2 requests so far. One = do it sunday, two = do it at 3 pm.
In my world, Safety is Third, Adventure Second and Hospitality First. So, in light of my beliefs, the picnic will be on Sunday at 3 pm. As you can see, my hospitality first addresses the 2 requests, my adventure then wonders what will happen at a Sunday afternoon burner picnic and my safety considerations are minimal given the adventure that I hope for Sunday afternoon.
The venue will be central at a little park called Spa Fields. It's a 5 min walk from Angel, 10 min from Farringdon and 15 min from Kings Cross. It's right behind Exmouth Market, so there will be plenty of places to grab supplies, and if it rains, we can just take a short walk up to my flat and congregate there. The park is not huge, but it's well kept and plenty of room for frisbee and ball if you want. There are also some nice little rolling hills for relaxing and napping.
