Knitting, cakes and maddness

Right.. I noticed that in the recent times, some of you have been preoccupied by an odd knitting habit, particularly in social places. I was a bit skeptical about it, until I was told that a bunch of peoples are working on a knitting performance that amongst other very exiting things involves an entire knitted fasade of the 6 metre tall tower at the corner of Smithfields market as a part of the recreation of the ancient St Bartholomew's Fair (which is in turn, a part of the London Architecture Biennially). Not surprisingly, they are looking for knitting volunteers :)

To be honest, I am touched by the madness of the project and plan to go knit doors and windows {very cute ones apparently} this Sunday.. Would anyone else like to join? Supplies, tea, cakes and good company are provided..

They will be knitting on
Sunday 21st May at 2pm at 105 Cornwallis Road N19 4LQ and on
Monday 22nd May at 7pm at All Bar One (Charterhouse St/ opposite Smithfield Market

Hope to see some of you then..

Did somebody say participate, and would that possible apply to the city that we live in? :)

Yulia
