The name of the currency of the European Union. The design of the notes and coinage was one of the most prestigious creative projects of the 20th century and the potential for truly groundbreaking progressive imagery was limitless. Unfortunately, the result was rather more limited.






Below is an image of the Guatemalan Quetzal for comparison. A quetzal is also a Central American bird of paradise. It has wings, a fancy hat and a long green tail. Sounds just like a Burner, in fact.
