Wow it has been a long time since i posted on here and about time really.

How are you all my lovelies? Making it to sufficiently fun and interesting parties to get you through the hot summer i hope. I hear temps are in 30's!!!!!!!!!! San fran seems to have some kind of heat wave as well as everyone is telling me it isn't normally this nice. And it is nice when the fog rolls in to cool it all down. Not that i am seeing it as I am slaving in the workshop making a monster :) with a bit of room for partying of course.
Summer as a Flaming Lotus Girl is cool. I have been hammering, welding, grinding, dismembering stun guns, drinking, cutting, bbq'ing, bending pipes, stripping wires, flashing LED's, and (of course) playing with some fire effects.
I wanted to tell you about some of what will be taken to the playa. The Serpent Mother is an immense project that has huge fire effects that you will be able to play yourself!!!!!!

The smiles on the faces of those playing it at the FIRE Arts Fest (just put those key words into flickr) here was very cool to see. Make all the poofers work at once, move the hydraulics on the head, play a tune with the poofer keyboard or play a game with other mates at the satelite controls. This baby is around 150 ft long!!!!!!!!! The head itself is big enough to swallow a careless tasty morsel. The egg will have high intensity flame effects at certain times.
We will be having a fireworks show on Friday night (i think around 11ish, reasonable time to start the evening with a bang) with a little something extra after it if you were looking for something to put into that busy social diary or just looking for a first dance for your dance card.
I have been putting the word out here for performers for Quixote's. I think i have found an italian comedy chef, a couple of singers, and just a couple of clowns!
I fully expect to see you all there with your jaws on the ground. Come to me for a full tour. Come see the reason for missing Nowhere. I cant wait to give you all a walk around some of it. I will be camped in the Techno Ghetto of Illumination Village on 4pm and Esplanade. busy busy busy place to live i think. no worries with you finding the serpent! no way any of you can miss us.
I am also going to put in a little plea for help here to. We do still have a lot of work to do. I thought if anyone is going to be in town before 17th /18th they might like to come along and see some of the build process and help out a little bit. The folks there were very happy at the prospect of some sexy Europeans turning up. The boxshop where we are is the centre of lots of BM art projects so it is a very cool place to hang out although we will give you a job to do! Alternatively, as always, we need some spare hands for breakdown. We are all going to be so knackered. you will understand when you see the size of the project and the relatively small numbers of us. a few hours on sunday would be immensly appreciated. a sure fire way to get some red hot lotus girls handouts and maybe a bit of gratuitus thank you kisses. ; ) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
