Empire is a
small mining town∞ on
HighWay447, about 20 miles from
BlackRockCity. It has the nearest shop to the event and not much else.
The Empire store (love it or loathe it)
is now closed and completely gutted∞. Even Cat, Donkey and Shrek have gone. Besides a few temporary stalls selling this and that, your last stop for smokes and snacks is now the gas station at Nixon. It may hopefully be re-opened under new ownership by August 2009.
