Bettie June, Burning Man's Associate Director of Art Management, is heading our way! While she's in town she's keen to give us an advance look at what's going to be out in the Nevada desert this summer in the shape of a Desert Arts Preview:

This is our very popular annual artist lecture series, where you get a sneak preview of some of notable art projects in progress right now for BurningMan 2012. Come and hear descriptions, see images, learn more about how to engage with the art of Black Rock City...before leaving the comfort of London. Find out more about the Circle of Regional Effigies, 35 inistallations being developed by groups from around the world, including the UK. Ask questions you have always wanted to ask about the art of Burning Man -- hear about our processes, our designs, our curation.

Specially for the occasion, Cafe Cairo are bringing their chef in - they don't normally do food on a Tuesday, so be ready to enjoy some beautiful Middle Eastern food (although that bit isn't free!).
